The Lydians and Their World

Centred on Sardis, capital of the Lydian kingdom, the exhibition brought together 245 works from the museums of Manisa, Uşak, Istanbul and Gordion, and from the Sadberk Hanım Museum. Prepared with the contribution of Prof. Crawford H. Greenewalt and Prof. Nicholas Cahill, who led the Sardis excavations for many years, the exhibition and its substantial catalogue remain a reference work on Lydian civilization in Turkish.
