Immortal Faces

The exhibition brings together marble sculptures from the Istanbul Archaeological Museums and the Sadberk Hanım Museum with portrait coins from the Yapı Kredi Museum. The works are arranged in three groups — rulers, deities and heroes. It explores how mythological figures and historical individuals attained immortality through art, and tells the story of the sculptors and mint-masters whose craft preserved these faces across centuries.
